Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communications campaigns and strategies, monitoring and reporting on their success across all channels, including social media
• Define key performance indicators for each communications channel and campaign
• Manage our retained external PR agency and content agency. Provide support to our SEO agency and contribute to the overall strategy
• Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar, awards strategy, and management of ExCo speaking opportunities
• Plan and, where necessary, draft and edit a variety of external communications, including articles, email comms, newsletters, Q&As, video scripts, presentations, thought leadership, annual report etc
• Support crisis communications planning and implementation
• Manage all internal comms channels (email, in-house screens, desk drops etc)
• Work closely with the broader marketing team to integrate activity and identity cross-marketing opportunities

Essential Knowledge & Experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms (posting, monitoring, social listening and reporting)
• 5+ years’ PR and comms experience
• An understanding of the nuances of working in a regulated industry
• An understanding of the Challenger Bank and Fintech competitive landscape
• The ability to create highly engaging content that drives engagement
• Strong communicator and relationship builder
• Comfortable working with and advising senior stakeholders
• Dynamic – comfortable working in a fast-paced, high change environment
• An eagerness to learn and develop
• A degree in a relevant field
