Main responsibilities of role
- Develop and implement strategies to attract low-cost, stable deposits to the Bank, with a focus on improving the net interest margin.
- Drive the acquisition of Business Current Accounts and Business Savings Accounts, leveraging the Bank’s existing product suite.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities across a broad range of sectors, with a specific focus on liquidity and deposit gathering.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their cash management needs and position the Bank’s deposit solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of deposit-gathering activities with broader business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs), using insights to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity in the liquidity and deposit space to inform business development efforts.
- Ensure all client interactions and onboarding activities are conducted in accordance with internal policies and procedures, including KYC and AML requirements.
- Provide feedback to product and operational teams to support continuous improvement of the Bank’s deposit offerings and client experience.
- Represent the Bank at relevant industry events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and attract new business.
