The Role

This is a 9-month FTC parental leave cover with potential extension. You will focus on financial risk analytics, supporting capital allocation, IFRS9 oversight, ICAAP stress testing, and liquidity risk management. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions and regulatory submissions.

In this role you will:

• Oversee IFRS 9 ECL calculations, reporting, and model validation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead ICAAP stress testing and scenario analysis, ensuring robust capital planning.
• Provide analytical insights on balance sheet risk, capital efficiency, portfolio overview and liquidity forecasting .
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to embed risk analytics into decision-making.
• Prepare clear, actionable reporting for senior management and regulatory reviews.

What You will Bring

• Background in banking, financial services, or regulatory environments, ideally from analytics or risk teams.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience in ICAAP, stress testing, or liquidity risk.
• Good understanding of IFRS9 ( ECL) + Macroeconomics
• Solid understanding of balance sheets, capital allocation, and regulatory frameworks (Basel, PRA/FCA).
• Proficiency in Excel and risk tools such as Python or Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and collaborate across teams including exco
