What’s the opportunity?
This is a permanent role within our Compliance team, reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager. You will play a key part in ensuring Cynergy Bank meets its regulatory obligations, providing expert advice to the business, and supporting the delivery of our Consumer Duty and other regulatory standards. Your work will directly influence how we respond to regulatory developments, manage incidents, and maintain our reputation for integrity and compliance.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Advise the business (1LOD) on regulatory queries and incidents, ensuring Consumer Duty and all regulatory standards are met.
- Manage incident reporting and related regulatory notifications (e.g., SUP_15, PSD2).
- Review and assess new products, services, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
- Identify and analyse regulatory and industry developments, leading on implementation as needed.
- Maintain compliance policies, manuals, and standards, and support regulatory reporting and committee submissions.
- Support and develop other Compliance Managers and deputise for senior leaders as required.
What You Will Bring
- Experience in a Compliance Advisory or Manager role, ideally within retail banking.
- In-depth knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory frameworks and compliance topics (e.g., Consumer Duty, SYSC, DISP, BCOBS, MCOBS, PSD2, Conduct Risk).
- 5+ years’ experience in a 2LOD Compliance function.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, able to explain technical concepts to all stakeholders.
- A degree in business, finance, economics, or a relevant professional qualification.
