What’s the opportunity?
This is a permanent opportunity to join our Relationship Management team based in Manchester. As an Associate Director, you will manage a portfolio of business customers with lending requirements up to £10m, focusing on day-to-day relationship management and smaller, less complex deals. You will also support Relationship Directors on larger transactions, gaining exposure and experience to progress within the team.

You will enjoy hybrid working, with 3 days in our Manchester office and 2 days from home.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of business customers with lending up to £10m.

• Support Relationship Directors on larger, more complex transactions.

• Prepare and submit high-quality loan applications for smaller deals.

• Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell banking products.

• Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements.

• Champion a high-quality customer experience and continuous process improvement.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial banking or a similar financial services role.

• Experience in trading businesses will be beneficial.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Sound understanding of risk, governance, AML, and KYC frameworks.

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving results.
