Join us as a People Advisor and play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, modern people support across Cynergy Bank. This is a development‑rich opportunity offering genuine breadth across advisory, reward, learning, data and digital HR alongside exposure to senior People & Culture leaders.
What’s the opportunity?
This is a key role within our People Advisory team, supporting the full employment lifecycle while helping modernise how people services are delivered across the Bank.
You will act as a trusted advisor on all people matters, own and improve core people processes, and work at the forefront of our human‑digital work design by partnering with our AI assistant, Buzz, to continuously enhance how colleagues access people support. Your work will directly influence colleague experience, risk management and how AI‑enabled HR evolves in a regulated environment.

We support hybrid working, with 3 days a week in our London office and 2 days from home.

How you will make an impact
Act as a trusted People Advisor on queries beyond day‑to‑day AI support.
Own and deliver end‑to‑end people processes including onboarding, leavers, HRIS data management, reward and payroll inputs.
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and improve processes using digital tools and AI.
Maintain and develop learning systems, content and reporting, supporting leadership and mandatory training programmes.
Support reward, benefits, performance and annual cycles, ensuring accuracy, data quality and governance.
Produce high‑quality MI and insights to inform leaders, audits, vendors and People & Culture priorities.
Lead or contribute to cross‑team projects that enhance colleague experience and operational effectiveness.
What you will bring
Technical capability
Experience working in a generalist HR or People Advisory role across the employment lifecycle.
A solid understanding of employment law fundamentals and HR policy frameworks.
Strong HRIS and data capability, with confidence using Excel and/or Power BI to generate insights.
Experience supporting reward, payroll, benefits, learning systems or performance processes.
An interest in AI, automation and digital ways of working, with the ability to review and refine AI‑generated content.
